PROFILES OF VGMA 2016 UNSUNG CATEGORY NOMINEES

1.   Feli Nuna (@felinuna)



Known in real life as Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, Feli Nuna is a pronounced good rapper and singer. Formerly signed to Ghanaian based record label, Lynx Ent., Feli is trademarked with her distinct, versatile & flexible rap style of music, with soothing singing capabilities as well. She established herself in the public front with her “Ghana Girl Swag” song back in 2013.
Nuna has now signed a new record deal with another influential Ghanaian based record label known as Bee Hyve Ent., which has Fizzi as their in-house producer. For the past months under her current management she has recorded about 25 masterpieces all produced by “Fizzi” which are set to boom across Ghana and the world as the international music market has always embraced her talent. The first single released under the label is “” which features Pappy Kojo.


In the past Feli Nuna has worked with Ghana based superstars like Richie, E.L, C Real, Joey B, and Klu.

2.   Adomaa (@adomaa_music)
Afro-jazz singer Adomaa broke the internet with her “Evolution of Music” series where she released her own renditions of Ghana hit singles, such as “Baafira”and “Adonai”. This showcased this gorgeous newcomer as a quirky fresh talent.



Her efforts became recognized as she was featured in The Guardian UK Newspaper as ‘A Voice of the Future’. After the success of the mash-up, she released “Traffic Jam”, which was the first single off Afraba EP, her debut project. The full EP which was released for an alternative free download was quite successful. She is currently being manged by Vision Inspired Music.
3.   Perez (@perezmusik)
Formally known as Prolifik Beatz, Perez is not only a musician, but a music producer and the owner of Phusion Recording Studio.



His desire is to channel every resource and talent available to lifting the banner of Christ high. Perez’s major single is “Baba God” which basically talks about Christ and praising Him throughout unfavourable endeavours.

4.   Ebony Reigns (@ebony_reigns)

Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony, a 19-year old dancehall act has taken time to master her craft. With the current dancehall domination in the music industry, Ebony has managed to surface as a fast rising female artiste. Her major single is “Dancefloor”, which has a spectacular video.

The Hip-Life grandpapa Reggie Rockstone affirmed the superiority of the video. She has great projects in stall for her fans and the general audience across the world.
5.   Nii Funny (@niifunny)

New sensational act, Nii Funny who happens to be a Ga (tribe in Ghana) broke into the GH music industry with his single “Yooko Ebreaki me” (heartbreak) which features Spanky. His hilarious style of music won the hearts of Ghanaians, as people would dance, sing and laugh along to his interesting refrains. Nii Funny is currently managed by Halifax Ent. He has other released singles including “Goliath” and “Judas” which are gaining feat in the Ghanaian music scene.



6. Wan O

Wan O is a Hip-Hop artiste noted for his witty flow and catchy style, the versatile act has gained some recognition and earned him collaborations with some top names in the game.
