Usually, artists
are given all the credit for composing music, but there are a lot of music
professionals who come together to make it a success. Such people include
songwriters, vocalists, samplers, sound engineers, instrumentalists and digital
beatmakers. A lot goes into music than how we see or hear it. Somehow this fact
can be disputed because these days credit is given to producers & engineers
in parentheses, but then, what about others such as keyboardists, guitarists
and other instrument players including percussionists who contribute to making
songs soulful? In this digital age, where one person can sit and create a
complete song solely, it’s not seen as quite important to delve deep into production
credits. However, for a project like Sarkodie’s “Mary” which is a live album,
one can’t overlook the details as the instrumentalists & backing vocalists
played a major role in the project. I present to you the full production

Enoch Owuraku is
a professional guitarist and a graduate of Takoradi Polytechnic. He read
Mechanical Enginnering. As a renowned musician and producer, Owuraku has shared
stages with several musicians across board, and is currently a member of the
Praise Levites Crew, a Ghanaian band.

Gladstorm
Kwabena Akwaboah, a singer, songwriter and producer, announced his musical
trademark in 2009 when he wrote “Daa Ke Daa” performed by Becca and “Ayeyi
Ndwom” performed by SP Kofi Sarpong (then DSP). He won the VGMA songwriter of
the year 2010 award with “Daa Ke Daa”. In 2013, he released his debut single “I
Do Love You”. Akwaboah wrote 8 songs on “Mary” album.

Osei is the most popular name when drumming is mentioned in Ghana. His talent
was discovered accidentally in Primary school when he was asked to play for his
school’s open day. With help from a man of God he joined VinePraise as a
drummer, then later became the official drummer for Soul Winners. Currently, he
is the CEO of Groove House studio.
