Ghana Music Week is a music festival held in Ghana, West Africa to celebrate Ghanaian music, one of Africa’s thriving music industries. The annually held festival aims to create heightened awareness and exposure for Ghanaian music and its artists.

This year’s edition promises to be intriguing with its line-up. The week as defined by organizers starts from March 1 and ends on March 7, 2016.

Ghana Music Week (GMW) is an initiative aimed at promoting Ghanaian music worldwide and seeing into the progress of the industry.

The 3rd edition of the festival commenced with a media launch on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at GH One TV premises. The short ceremony witnessed the presence of industry moguls such as the MUSIGA president Bice Osei Kufour (Obour), Okyeame Kwame, and Wiyaala. Below are some photos of the ceremony.
